I'm a curious person. Interested in stories, history, people, research. I am passionate about finding a cure for Alzheimer's; and helping others who are now care givers for loved ones. I enjoy reading and currently using picture books as mentor texts with older students.
Thank you. Unfortunately, it's like the old country song-if it wasn't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all. We had to put Merlin to sleep last week. Not even for what he was sick from. He was getting better, but he had epilepsy. He had a bad seizure last Tues night, which went into cluster seizures. Horrible night. Didn't want him suffering anymore. Stress from that has had me sick for the past week. I'm thinking that things have to get better from here. Thanks for thinking of me. Hope things are going better for you.
Hi Ruth, I just read your compassionate comment to Elsie about her poem wondering Why God? I thought, "If I'm not her friend, I want to be!" And I came to your profile to see that we are, in fact, connected. :-)
Going pretty well. New kittens taking over the house. Sounds like you've been busy too! Merlin not doing so well again. Busy as usual. Forgot how much less time you have when you work a full time job, but liking that too. Just concerned about Merlin. Do you do the Facebook thing? Just started that recently. Love some of the games. Also reconnected with relatives recently. Didn't even realize some of them were relatives, I'm embarrassed to say!
